Anil Kapoor, who has always been known for his flamboyance, will underplay his style quotient in 24.

Sources have it that the actor is contemplating a different look for the Indian version of the series.

"Anil and director Abhinay Deo are having discussions on the kind of looks he should have and whether he should opt for a very short hair cut or do away with the moustache. He knows that the people would expect him to look suave and crisp in a suit but he wants to surprise his fans with a completely different appearance," said a source.

The source added, "Though the shooting of the series has begun, Anil will begin only when they zero in on the new look."

Anil Kapoor, who has bought the rights of the hit American TV series 24, will see him making his debut on television as Counter Terrorist Unit agent.
