There was a time when intimate scenes on TV were a strict 'no-no'. But after Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar's lip-lock scene in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, lip-lock scenes seems to be slowly and steadily making a way, being accepted by the audience. These intimate scenes attract eyeballs and help create a lot of buzz around the show and they have become almost an inevitable part of daily soaps. Here we list down the top 5 lip-locks on TV.

Ram-Sakshi: Bade Achhe Lagte Hain brought sensuous scenes for the first time on Indian television. The show reached its peak when Ram Kapoor aka Ram and Sakshi Tanwar aka Priya shared their first onscreen lip-lock scene in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. Indeed it was a bold step, but they agreed to keep aside their inhibitions. Like thorough professionals, they shot their first lip-lock and love scene for Indian Television. 

Roopal-Ankit: After Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar’s lip-lock followed a love making sequence by the younger lot of TV. In order to grab more eyeballs, young actors Ankit Gera and Roopal Tyagi of Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke also shot a lip-locking. 

Niaa-Kushal: Niaa Sharma and Kushal Tandon’s off screen chemistry was a hot topic of discussion once. The actors never failed to impress audiences with their sizzling chemistry on their show -  Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. When the makers decided to consummate Virat and Maanvi’s marriage (their onscreen characters), the mood was set with the number ‘Tum Hi Ho’ from Aashiqui 2 playing in the background. It just added to Virat-Maanvi’s hot chemistry.

Mallika Sherawat kissed a contestant on a TV show: Mallika Sherawat kissing on screen is no big deal as the Bollywood bombshell has done it several times in the past. But when she decided to lock lips with one of her suitors on national television, she surely created a major stir. Mallika, who made her debut on TV with The Bachelorette India, raised eyebrows with her lip-lock. One of the contestants on Mallika’s show, Vijay, planned a romantic evening, complete with heart-shaped seating, flowers and candles. The duo got quite cozy during this date and Mallika ended up kissing him. 

Ayaz Ahmed-Nikita Sharma: Whether it is locking lips on-screen or doing it for publicity, it seems small screen actors are ready to give a tough competition to the big screen actors. Well, here we are talking about Do Dil Ek Jaan actors Ayaz Ahmed and Nikita Sharma who kissed each other for their daily soap and though the news milked a lot of publicity, the scene got never aired.
